Come on down and Meet the Artists that made it to Memphis. These fortunate travellers and winners of the 2015 ARBA Memphis Blues Challenge will perform for you as they performed in Memphis and more. Both acts have continued to work solidly since their return with a wealth of experience behind them. Not only do you get to witness their polished performances, you will hear their story and share their experiences live and close up during an interview with Radio Adelaide presenter, Mike Hotz. The evening, MC'd by our President and 3D presenter Mick Young, will open up to an informal Q&A as Lazy Eye, Mick Kidd and Dave Blight share their experience and lessons learnt from the intensity of the International Blues Music Challenge, Memphis Tennessee. Invaluable in the lead up to the 2016 Memphis Blues Challenge in June, this is not to be missed! |
While soaking in the sounds and stories of Memphis indulge your taste buds with Memphis Style Jerk Chicken and Pork Belly Burgers washed down with Big Shed ales and Fox Creek Wines. This will be a night to remember and with a number of items to auction you may be one of the lucky ones to walk away with a bargain! At the least, there will be stories to tell, secrets learnt, bellies filled and ears pleased. Quality sound on the night will be provided by Engineer, Phil Birtles. Thanks also goes to Big Shed, Fox Creek, St Luke’s, John Reynolds, Lazy Eye, Mick Kidd and Dave Blight and of course, you! Saturday May 7th 2016, Doors Open 7 pm.
